Since CreateSpace is being weird and douchey this year (and I’m not paying for a proof so I can have five useless copies of a novel that I’m not even sure that I like all that much), I decided to go back to Lulu.
They were originally the ones that did the ‘copy of your novel’ thing and I LIKE them. A lot.
Turns out? If you go to them and pay for shipping, they’ll send you a FREE COPY of your novel, anyway.
And? They do hardcovers, with or without a dust jacket. So, for 5 bucks, I got that shiny lil piece of work up there. And? AND? They’ll send you that free copy for ANY NEW WORK you do. That is a copy of my 2007 novel and I love it. I just transferred over my files to see how it worked and what would need tweaking and I have to say… for a rush job? I’m extremely pleased.
So, Lulu? You have my business. :D
